People-First Framework

How to Show Up Everywhere

Rank in Google. Show up in AI. Dominate social.
Without spending a fortune.

Keith Breseé • People-First Framework

The Problem

Marketing is Broken

Everyone's chasing algorithms. Paying for ads that disappear. Posting content nobody reads. And hoping Google notices.

The Ad Trap

You stop paying, you stop showing up. It's renting visibility — you never own it.

The Content Grind

Posting 5x a week with zero strategy. More noise, less results. You're exhausted.

The AI Shift

ChatGPT, Google AI, Siri — they're answering questions FOR your customers. If you're not the source, you're invisible.

Algorithms don't buy.
People do.

When you start with people, the algorithm follows.

The Shift

People Before Platforms

OLD WAY

  • Chase keywords and trends
  • Write for Google's robots
  • Hope the algorithm picks you
  • Pay for every click
  • Content dies in 48 hours

PEOPLE-FIRST WAY

  • Listen to your actual customers
  • Use their words in your content
  • Build trust that compounds
  • Organic traffic you own forever
  • Content works for years
Why This Works

One System. Every Platform.

Google, ChatGPT, Instagram, YouTube, Siri — they all reward the same thing: clear, helpful, human content that answers real questions.

Google & SEO

Google literally updated their guidelines to reward "people-first content." They want helpful answers from real experts — that's you.

AI Answers (ChatGPT, Gemini)

AI pulls from trusted, clear sources. When your content is built on real expertise and real language, AI cites YOU.

Social Media

Every platform rewards content that gets saved, shared, and commented on. People engage with what resonates — not what's optimized.

Local Search & Maps

Reviews, Q&A, local content — when you speak your customer's language in your Google Business Profile, you rank where it matters most.

The Forgotten Truth

SEO Is the Original Earned Media

Before "earned media" was a buzzword, there was one place you could show up without paying a cent: Google. Rank organically and you earned every visitor. That hasn't changed — AI just made it matter more.

Paid

You stop paying, you disappear. Renting attention — every click is a transaction.

Owned

Your site, your list. You control it — but only if people actually show up.

Earned (SEO + AI)

People find you because you deserve to be found. The asset compounds for years.

Ads stop. Posts disappear. SEO content keeps working for years.

Where Growth Lives Now

Brand Meets SEO

Brand without SEO — nobody finds you. SEO without brand — nobody trusts you. The businesses winning right now do both — with the same people-first content.

Brand Alone

People remember you — if they already know your name. Vibes without traffic.

SEO Alone

Strangers find you when they search a problem — but they don't know who you are. Traffic without trust.

Brand × SEO

You become THE answer for your category. Google ranks you. AI cites you. Customers choose you.

And the multiplier that makes both work? People-first content.

The System

The People-First
Framework

Four layers. One ecosystem. Content that connects, converts, and compounds.

1. Listen
→
2. Build
→
3. Distribute
→
4. Convert

Each layer feeds the next. It's not a funnel — it's a flywheel.

The Engine

The Content Triangle

Three platforms. One loop. Infinite compounding.

Content
Flywheel
Embed video in article
Video links to article
GMB post links to both
Your Website
Article + Embedded Video
Google Business
Posts & Updates
YouTube
(or any long-form video platform)

Path A: Article First

  1. Mine customer language (reviews, DMs, "People Also Ask")
  2. Write 1,500+ word article with Claude (Opus 4.6)
  3. Grab your phone — horizontal — and riff on camera about the topic
  4. Upload video to YouTube; embed it at the top of your article
  5. Post an update on Google Business: "We just dropped a video about [topic]" — link to video or article
  6. YouTube video description links back to the article
  7. Article CTA: "Book a call" / "Hire us for [service]"

Path B: Video First

  1. Shoot a 10+ minute video on a topic your customers keep asking about
  2. Upload to YouTube
  3. Pull the transcript — paste it into Claude (Opus 4.6)
  4. Prompt: "Turn this into a 1,500-word companion article that complements (not copies) the video"
  5. Publish article on your site with the video embedded at the top
  6. Post an update on Google Business linking to the article or video
  7. Article CTA: "Book a call" / "Hire us for [service]"

Both paths feed the same triangle. Every piece strengthens the other two. That's the flywheel.

Layer 1

Listen First

Analog Before Algorithm

Before you write a single post, you need to know exactly how your customers talk about their problems. Not what you think they say — what they actually say.

01

Mine Real Words

Go to your Google reviews, Facebook comments, DMs, emails. Copy the exact phrases customers use when they describe their problems.

02

Tag the Patterns

Sort them: Pains ("I'm sick of..."), Desires ("I wish..."), Objections ("But what about..."), and Language (their actual words).

03

Use Their Words

Put those exact phrases in your headlines, your Google Business Profile, your website, your social posts. That's the secret to ranking.

04

Validate with Data

Take those phrases and check Google search volume, "People Also Ask" boxes, and AI tools. You'll find gold every time.

Try This Tonight

Your 5-Minute Audience Mine

Open your Google Reviews or Facebook page right now. Find 3 phrases your customers actually wrote. Those phrases ARE your content strategy.

Example: Contractor

  • "They actually showed up on time"
  • "No hidden fees at the end"
  • "Cleaned up after themselves"

Your content: Blog post — "Why We Show Up On Time (And Why That's Rare)"

Example: Realtor

  • "Made the process so easy"
  • "Actually listened to what we wanted"
  • "Felt like we weren't just a number"

Your content: Video — "What Most Realtors Get Wrong About First-Time Buyers"

Layer 2

Build Once, Use Everywhere

Content Architecture

You don't need 30 ideas a month. You need one good idea that becomes 10 pieces of content.

A

1 Anchor Piece

One in-depth blog, video, or guide per month. This is your pillar — the thing Google and AI reference.

B

3-5 Micro Posts

Pull quotes, tips, and takeaways from your anchor. Turn them into social posts, reels, or carousels.

C

1 Proof Post

A screenshot, testimonial, before/after, or case study that proves your anchor piece is real.

One idea → one blog → five social posts → one proof post → a month of content. Done.

Why Volume Matters

Publish to Learn.

Not to perform. Not to fill a calendar.

Most people publish to "stay active." That's a waste. You publish to find out what your audience actually responds to. Every post is a data point. Volume isn't the goal — speed of learning is.

1

1 Post

A guess. You learn almost nothing.

10

10 Posts

Patterns emerge. Which hooks land. Which topics get saved.

50

50 Posts

You know your audience better than they know themselves.

∞

Compounding

Every piece feeds the next. Clarity becomes a system.

You can't think your way to clarity. You publish your way there.

Layer 3

Distribute Smart

The Waterfall Method

Content flows downhill. Start big, break it smaller, and let it ripple across every platform.

ANCHOR
BLOG POST / VIDEO / GUIDE
MID
CAROUSEL / LINKEDIN / EMAIL
MICRO
REELS / SHORTS / QUOTES
PROOF
RESULTS / REVIEWS

Each layer points back up. Micro posts drive traffic to your anchor. The anchor builds your authority.

Layer 4

Convert & Compound

The Flywheel

Great content doesn't just get likes — it turns into leads, customers, and proof that creates more content. It's a loop, not a line.

1

Attention

People find your content because it answers their real question.

2

Trust

They see proof. They see consistency. They start following you.

3

Action

They call, book, buy. One simple CTA per piece of content.

4

Proof

Their result becomes your next testimonial, case study, and content fuel.

ATTENTION → TRUST → ACTION → PROOF → REPEAT

The AI Opportunity

How to Get
Recommended by AI

ChatGPT, Google's AI Overview, Siri, and Alexa are now answering your customer's questions. Here's how to make sure they recommend YOU.

1

Be the Clearest Answer

AI doesn't want fluff. Write direct, helpful content that answers the specific question better than anyone else.

2

Use Real Expertise

AI is trained to prefer content from real people with real experience. Your 20 years as a contractor IS your advantage.

3

Answer the Questions

Go to Google, type your service + your city. Look at "People Also Ask." Answer those questions on your website. Done.

4

Build Trust Signals

Reviews, consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone), backlinks from local directories, and content that gets shared — that's what AI trusts.

Your Playbook

The Local Business Action Plan

You don't need a marketing team. You don't need a big budget. You need a system that takes 2-3 hours a week and compounds over time.

W1

Week 1: Listen

Pull 10-15 real phrases from your reviews, DMs, and emails. Sort into Pains, Desires, and Objections. This is your content goldmine.

W2

Week 2: Build Your Anchor

Write one blog post or shoot one video answering your customer's #1 question using their own words. Put it on your site.

W3

Week 3: Distribute

Break that anchor into 5 social posts. Share a review screenshot. Post a quick tip video. Update your Google Business Profile description.

W4

Week 4: Prove & Repeat

Share a customer win. Ask for a review. Screenshot any results. Use that proof to fuel next month's anchor content.

Do This Tomorrow

5 Quick Wins You Can Do Free

  • Update your Google Business Profile — use customer language in your description, not industry jargon.
  • Answer 3 "People Also Ask" questions — write a short blog post or FAQ page on your website for each one.
  • Post one review screenshot — on your social media with a short story about that customer.
  • Record one 60-second video — answering your most common customer question. Post it everywhere.
  • Ask your last 3 customers for a Google Review — and tell them exactly what to mention (the problem you solved).
Measure What Matters

Forget Vanity. Track Value.

Likes don't pay bills. Here's what actually tells you if your content is working.

Saves & Shares

People saving your content = they trust it. That's the signal that matters to every algorithm.

Inbound Calls & DMs

"I saw your post" or "I found you on Google" — track where leads actually come from.

Search Impressions

Google Search Console is free. Watch your impressions grow as you add people-first content to your site.

Value Per Minute > Views Per Video
